‘Home Bodies’ on show

Excited to have work in the upcoming ‘Home Bodies’ exhib ition at Unit 2 Gallery, St Leonards on Sea!

This two week-long exhibition explores the entanglement of the body and the home. Fundamental, ubiquitous; both are vessels for being. Through varied materials and sensory encounters, the works consider the body as a site of memory, trauma, joy, autonomy and transformation. This is the place we return to, and reside within.

Together we invite reflection on what it means to inhabit flesh, skin and space. We examine the connection between the internal and external; the private and the shared. Both body and home are sites of tenderness, survival and belonging.
